Salute to the Flag.

Students in 4th and 5th grade art club painted paper with various patterns- this took 40 minutes during our first meeting. At the second meeting students cut apart their painted paper design and did their interpretations of the American Flag.

I brought out the paper crimpers, sparkles, star shapes and dot markers then they went to town! I love the art club students they have such zany and creative ideas it is a pleasure to be with them! Enjoy!

  1. I love interpretive flag art and have done quite a lot with my students. This is a good reminder for our school to do some this year in time for Veteran's Day. Thank You!
