To wrap up the school year our last unit is on Vincent VanGogh. The 5th grade students created clay sunflowers inspired by Vincent's various paintings on sunflowers. We used white stoneware and fired to cone 06. Then we glazed them with various glazes and fired at cone 04. The students had a great time glazing their special flowers.
